My Kindle Paperwhite Won't Connect to Wifi?
My Kindle Paperwhite will not connect to any WiFi despite there being multiple WiFi networks in the neighborhood. In fact, it won't detect any WiFi at all. I'm using a WPA2-PSK connection type. The reconnect and other options on the kindle are grayed and cannot be selected. My laptop, phone, and computer all connect to my WiFi but not my kindle. I connected to my WiFi only once, and that was when I first got it. It has never done it again since. Any solutions?

Totally worthless answer. His device no longer sees WiFi networks
I agree, Amazon needs to resolve this issue. My Paperwhite out of the blue stopped recognizing my wifi network - haven't found any help with a solution. Back to using my old kindle device much more reliable.
This is extremely frustrating! I cannot find a satisfactory answer to this question anywhere! My kindle did the exact same thing… It was working fine, connecting to wifi fine, and out of the blue one day it no longer is able to connect. I just got it for Christmas and now, a month later, I cannot use it. I've restarted my paperwhite, restarted my wifi, tried manually entering in my wifi information, and finally I did a factory reset. Now, because it refuses to connect to wifi ANYWHERE, I can't re-register my kindle and I can't even connect to the computer to download books! Totally worthless response. What a piece of junk!
I have the problem, too. I called Amazon, and spoke with a lady for over 30 minutes with nothing being resolved. She then said she would put a note in for the designers/manufacturers and she would call me back in 48 hours. This was the week after Christmas and I still haven't gotten a phone call, nor will it connect to WiFi! It's so frustrating!
