Any info on a 2nd gen Kindle Paperwhite?

I have a Kindle Keyboard w/ 3G. I love it, but lighting is an issue sometimes. The covers with lights are heavy and aren't very good. The Paperwhite came out in September with fewer gb's than previous Kindles (Amazon says it doesn't matter because you can store books in Amz Cloud, but it matters to me) AND they got rid of the speakers. Obviously they don't want to compete with their Fire Tablets. But if I wanted to read off a back-lit screen, I wouldn't have purchased a Kindle in the first place. I think they took enough heat for removing the audio and gigs to reinstate both in the next one. Have you heard any rumors of a release date for a 2nd gen Paperwhite?

Added (1). EDIT@ Uncle Pennybags: I have over 300+ books, I plan to add many, many more. I occasionally use the text to speech. Also, you can download mp3 songs and play music while you read. Most importantly, I have audio-books too. Amazon was really pushing them before the Paperwhite. It just seems like I'd be giving up features I use (not to mention $ wasted on audio-books) for a touchscreen with a light. I would like to have the smaller device, higher contrast, and touchscreen that the Paperwhite offers.

Added (3). I HAVE NO IDEA WHY THAT APPEARED TWICE! :D

Next gen Kindles won't be announced / released until September or October.

I agree with Amazon on the memory. I've got 70+ books on my Kindle Keyboard and I've barely used hardly any memory.

Come to think of it, other than toying with the Text to speech feature, I've never used the speakers on it either.

They should be making an announcement next summer. They were expecting to sell more. The removal of speakers and storage hurt sales. Many reviewers weren't impressed with the light, gigs, lack of sound, or the fact that they decided not to add color. B&N's Nook is the same price, has a light, color, touch screen, sound, and you can purchase ebooks from many different sources. Amazon was too stingy in an attempt to get people to buy the Fire and the Paperwhite. Unfortunately, Fire is limited to Amazon apps. They're not doing themselves any favors with Fire. The next generation Paperwhite is sure to address some of these issues.
