I have an Amazon Kindle. It is not the touch screen kind, it is very plain. It has the keyboard. Anyway, so I have charged it two days in a row. I slid the power switch, and it won't turn on! There are weird lines on the picture (but it's not broken). Help!

Try sliding your power switch and holding it until it does something. Hold up to 20 seconds.

If this doesn't work, your Kindle may indeed be broken.
