Why can't I download Adobe on my kindle fire?

I need Adobe to do certain things. Like if you go to a website such as fx and want to watch a show, you can't because Adobe required. But when I try to download, it does nothing. Anyone else have this problem? Anyone know how to fix? Thanks

You mean Adobe Flash. Unfortunately, many of the tablets do not use operating systems that allow Flash to be installed. So you are out of luck.

First, you get to verify which Kindle Fire you have. See the different models below. Only the Kindle Fire (1st Generation) has built-in Flash Player supported, all newer Kindle Fires don't:

If you're having the 1st generation Kindle Fire, then there's a setting to enable Flash. If you can't find such a setting, chances are it's a Kindle Fire 2nd Generation or Kindle Fire HD (they're sold starting from Sept 2012). They don't come with Adobe Flash, as all new Android 4.0 or later tablets won't support Flash (Flash will obsolete with HTML5 and other new technology). However, there's workaround that can make Flash work on the new Kindle Fires, see a good discussion here:

Hope that helps.
