What will happen if i factory reset my kindle fire?
For some reason my kindle fire stops and freezes sometimes. Not all the time. But will my videos, music, books, apps be deleted if i do a factory reset? Please i dont want to make a mistake and mess up about this. Please help me!
A factory reset will erase everything on the Kindle making it how it was when you pulled it out of the box. Instead of deleting everything to clear space, try downloading an auotkiller app. Android (which the Kindle runs as a variant of Android OS) has a tendency to keep lots of apps running in the background. Since the apps and the OS share the same RAM pool, the device can slow down as running apps take up RAM space. Also, removing unwanted apps, finished books and movies, and unwanted songs can greatly improve on storage space.
Yes. Factory resets erase everything.
If you have all your books and stuff backed up to your computer or amazon account, you don't have to worry about losing your stuff. If not, then do not reset your kindle.
! Factory resets don't always solve the problem!
You may need a software update.
I would recommend checking for an update or patch.
It would definitely erase everything so make sure that you have a backup of your stuff on amazon cloud and computer so you can receive those things after you have restored it!
