On a Kindle Fire HD how do you change Browsers?

I bought my kindle fire so I could use it for my dual enrollment class when I'm not at a computer. But when I signed in and everything it said "you are not using a supported browser" and won't let me get passed there.

It depends on what browsers are "supported". On my Kindle Fire HD, I can use the built-in Silk, Dolphin, or Maxathon.

First, go to the top Toolbar and choose More.
From the Settings menu, scroll down and choose Device.
The 5th choice on the Device menu is Allow Installation of Applications From Unknown Sources. Set it to "On".

Then, go to getjar.com and download their own Getjar app.
From there, you can download alternative browsers, as well as a wealth of free games and apps.

Hope this helps.

The Dolphin browser is a popular browser that people will use on the Kindle Fire HD, and it supports Flash too. See here on a good discussion on how to install it:

Hope that helps.
