I have a problem with my Kindle Fire? - 1
My Kindle Fire is almost a year old (I think) and a while back I was tryin to charge it an it would not charge. I tried bending the cord backwards and wrapping it around the kindle and it worked. Does that signify something that is wrong with it? (I also lost the designate charger for it)
The wire inside is probably ripping or loose.
I think maybe there is bad contact. You'd better get your Kindle Fire repaired.
Yes probably it's bad contact in the wire. And try to reboot the device as well, see if the problem goes away.
There can also be a good chance, that battery monitoring firmware has gone out of sync with actual battery charge. It'll cause the device appears to be unable to charge, power on, having frozen screen, etc. Here's a good discussion on how to fix such kind of problem, as well as how to reboot the device:
If problem persists, try to contact Amazon to see if they can offer any kind of help.
