I have the first generation kindle fire, and as of a couple days ago it turned off with a full battery. When I tried to turn it back on the light lit up green, held the green for about a minute then shut off again. I've tried rebooting it but that hasn't worked either. I discovered last night that the USB Port was loose. How do I fix it or where do I take it? And how much is it going to cost me?

These are considered throw away items not ever intended to be repaired. And the Loose USB has nothing to do with you problem. It sounds like you picked up a virus. You can send this back to the factory. And they can repair it But I know for a fact this will cost you more than you paid for the item. Like I said these are consdered a throw away item. It breaks its done.period.

I encountered this issue before so here. Unplug all devices. Press and hold the power button for 20 seconds then release (this is the accurate count so holding the button for more or less than 20 seconds, you'll fail to open it again). Press the power button again for 2 seconds and then release it. This step will help your device to function again. If still not working, you should bring to expert.
