I've tried downloading just about every version, but every time I try to use something that requires it, it tells me I need to upgrade my flash player. Which version of flash player do I use? How do I get to see everything I've downloaded?

Flash Player is no longer supported on mobile devices.

The content should be available in an HTML 5 format or as a dedicated app.

First of all, get the Getjar app.

Then, from Getjar, download the Dolphin browser. It's a different experience and also supports Flash.

You get to sideload the Flash on the Kindle Fire HD, and use the version for Android tablet. There's a good discussion here on whether to download Flash installation file and other files, it should work

Hope that helps.
