Does any one know the life expectancy of a Kindle Fire?

I have had my Kindle Fire since Chrismass of 2011 today it just stop working I use this every day please if you can tell me how to fix it or replace it without having to buy a new one that would be great I have a whole lot of notes and books and other improtant apps on there that I need and some that I payed for too. I am not able to buy one at this time so good advice would be greatfull.

Your question could use a few commas, periods, and capitalization.

The life expectancy of such things is rarely, if ever, possible to establish.

One can -- partly jokingly -- presume the expected life of any gadget
to be about 5% to 25% longer than the warranty period.

Try holding the power button down for 20 seconds. That should re-boot it. Worked for me.
