Are kindle books full books or are they condensed?
I am reading my mums and i seem to finish books quicker than paperback ones.
Full books. Sometimes enhanced.
Full books, unless it happens to be an abridged edition (in which case it'll say so in the title).
Maybe it's just the illusion that you're finishing quicker - there are less words on the page so you seem to 'turn the page' more often than usual. And I also think the screen makes it easier on the eyes and brain so you probably are reading a little faster.
But definitely they're full books - maybe you've just picked a few short ones lately!
Enjoy your reading!
E-book word counts are dropping. Most novels are now 50, 000 to 125, 000 words long. The majority of writers and readers are turning to short stories - from 5, 000 to 20, 000 words. These are known as novolettes or novellas.
E-book reading is more tiring on the eyes than paper reading for some people, but the high-handed attitude of paper book publishers has forced writers to self-publish for free on amazon, and yes, the quality has dropped.
There are e-books with good story content that are badly written and awful stories where the grammar spelling etc. Is excellent.
Only around 20% of the books on amazon are worth reading.
On Amazon, for writers of all categories, it's a game of chance.
My books are dispersed amongst 20 - 30, 000 others, if you don't know my author pseudonyms, then how do you find my stories?
So here they are: T. S. Vandelocht and T. J. Edison - and my co-author Ellen Dudley.
